Avery Update!

We had Avery's Parent Teacher Conference at school and it went very well. They did a 3 year-old assessment for her and she is excelling at all checkpoints. She is able to write her name, counted to 69, identified all her letters and their sounds, can use her fine motor skills to color and cut, can write the entire alphabet, listens well, takes turns well, and a list that keeps going. She is doing better with being nice to her friends with her words (which we had a time where she was not being very nice to her friends). She loves music, Spanish, and Chapel. Overall, the teacher said she is a joy to have and will do very well in school. She also loves to play "Teacher", wonder where she gets this from? She also has a big heart for a little boy named Henry in her class who is younger and has cochlear implants (hearing devices)...she is very mothering to him, makes his cot each day for nap and helps him get his implants to the teachers. Got to love her big heart and concern for others. Just a little update on Avery and her school!
