You see this chair...?

...It is where I will be sitting for at least 25-30 hours over the next week. I like to refer to this week (from tomorrow when Final Four games begin through opening day, through the National Championship game, all the way to the Masters) as the best week in sports.

It truly is the best week. Not only does it officially mark the start of spring--for me at least--but it is a sports fan's dream week. If you can't get excited about the Final Four, opening day of baseball, and The Masters - ALL IN STUNNING HIGH DEFNITION-then I question your fandom to sports in general. The only thing that would make this week any better is if Kentucky were in the Final Four. Heartbroken again, but at least we're making headlines.

3D/4D Ultrasound Pictures

We had our 30 1/2-week appointment today. Everything checked out OK, and we had our 3D/4D ultrasound today. Below are the pictures. I'm a bit disappointed in the quality. The images you see when you do a Google search for 3D/4D ultrasound are a lot more crisp and clear. So, do your best to make out facial features. Kelli and I think baby has a lot of my features. We did not find out the sex of the baby, so let's hope it is indeed a boy. In Kelli's words, "It'll either be one cute boy a girl who looks like her daddy." Regardless, we think the baby is perfect. It is good to see these pictures. We've got a few more, but we'll just post these below.

new odyssey

Kelli and I became one step closer to being parents. We took the dive and became the proud owners of a 2006 Honda Odyssey. We LOVE it. White, low miles, perfect condition, yada, yada, yada. Pictures will follow tomorrow...or the next day.

28 week appointment

We had our 28ish week appointment today with our doctor. The glucose screening today went perfectly, and all of mommy's numbers/readings were normal (perfect according to the nurse). So that is good to hear.

We start going to the doctor every two weeks now, and will be able to post updates more often. We did schedule another ultrasound, this time a 3D/4D one. We haven't officially decided if we are going to keep the appointment, because we don't want it to reveal what we're having, and an in-depth look at the face may give that away. So, we'll keep you posted on that as well.

28 Weeks and 2 days

This is a view from Mommy's perspective.

We follow-up Tuesday at the Doctor for a glucose screening and to check for gestational diabetes. Then we will start seeing the doctor every 2 weeks!!! We have 80 days left before the arrival!
