Avery is on the Move

Last night I put Avery on her BACK to play on her mat. When I returned from washing her bottles she was on her BELLY and on her way to the carpet. I guess the Mat was not too interesting. She is so strong and has learned this week that she can put her feet underneath her and push across the room...She however needs to learn to keep her head up or we are going to have a rug burn face.

Tummy Time

It has been such a long day....

The Neverending Work Week

I returned to work on Monday and Avery went to the babysitter after a quick 12 weeks of maternity leave. It has been a long week and it is only Wednesday evening, however I am fortunate to only have to work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 4:30. Avery has done great at the babysitter and I have done OK at work. It is hard to leave part of my heart with someone else for the day, but there is not a better feeling than coming home to see her smiling face.

She has kind of "squealed" before, but early this morning was the first true chuckle.

My First Vacation to Gatlinburg...

Kelli's Family went to Gatlinburg for a short vacation....these are the only pictures we got of Avery...which was before we left Lexington....Grandma got some pictures of her in Gatlinburg though.

Avery was taking a nap last week and when I went in to check on her this is how I found her. She is rolling over from her back to her stomach...it is always a treat to check on her during nap time to see what position she is in.
