Date Night

Adam and I got to go out to Malone's for a nice Birthday dinner on Saturday!! Avery got to stay home and play with grandma and grandpa!! Thanks Mom and Dad for the night out! Here are some pictures of before we left for dinner.

Where does the time go...it seems like we were just bringing Avery home from the hospital...but that was 8 months ago!! Crazy!

Here are some cute shots, I got of Avery last night talking and moving towards "Pop" She thinks "Pop" is one of her friends from daycare...she talks to him, touches him, pets him, knocks him over...it is really cute to see her interact with him

Ear Infection has struck again!

I went to the MD yesterday because Avery has not been feeling well over the past few days and Mommy was sure we had a left ear infection. Sure enough...we have a left ear infection! So this means we are on a round of antibiotics and will be seeing an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) specialist February 5th to discuss when we will get tubes. I have mixed emotions about tubes...it will not prevent ear infections but will allow her ears to drain, which in turn will mean her ear infections will not last as long. This will prevent scarring of her ear drum and possible future hearing loss. I want the tubes in, I just don't want to go through it all. It is an outpatient surgery and literally takes maybe 15 minutes max! So, we will keep you posted on when we will be having surgery. Here are some pictures of her from last night. You would never know this child has an ear infection and doesn't feel well. She is so happy!!

Puppy Dogs!

Avery loves her doggies. She gets too excited when she can reach out and pet them. It was really hard for me to get pictures of her face and be close enough to make sure the dogs weren't going to knock her over or lick her face.

Boomer is so good with Avery. He loves to lick her though...she thinks it is great!
