Smiles are Back

Avery has been on her Antibiotics for 10 days and she is feeling much better. She also is not having pain from her tooth currently, so our little smiley girl is back.

Wanted to say THANK YOU to Mom and Dad for being here this past weekend to watch Avery while Adam and I were suppose to be spending time with some college friends from Chicago. We got to go out to dinner on Friday evening with our friends. Unfortunately, I was sick with a stomach virus and did not move off the couch on Saturday. Thanks to Mom and Dad for taking care of Avery and allowing Adam to go to the UK game :( (We Lost) Here are some pictures of Avery sitting on the couch..

5 Months Old

Avery is growing up too quickly. Here are some random pictures of her from this past week. She is cutting her bottom tooth and smiles are hard to come by right now...

Our First Ear Infection....

Avery had a really stuffy nose from Friday to Monday....so we took her to the Pediatrician on Monday morning to make sure she was not contagious for daycare and to make sure she did not have an ear infection. She was not running a fever, pulling at her ear, screaming with feeding, or any of the other signs with an ear infection, except she was not as happy as normal. So sure enough, she has her first ear infection and is cutting her first TOOTH!!! Agh...she is on antibiotics and tylenol and has been great since. Here are some pictures of her before I got her dressed for bed tonight.

Cereal for the First Time

Adam and I decided we would try Avery on a little rice cereal..it went pretty well for the first time...however after talking with several mother's (women at work)...they have told me to wait until she is 6 months to start cereal. I was reading up that she should double her birth weight before hand and the pediatrician recommended waiting until 6 months, unless we felt Avery was really hungry.

Sunday on the Porch

Sunday was a beautiful day and we all needed to get out of the house. Adam was mowing, I was trimming the bushes and landscaping, and Avery was having a ball swinging on the porch.



This is Avery's new thing...she sucks her bottom lip in and swallows...so cute. :)

Tigger Has Arrived!

Avery is going to be Tigger for Halloween..I had to try the costume on to make sure it fit. She can barely get in the costume length wise...she is so darn tall. :)

A Day with Avery

Adam got to go to the UK football game today with a friend, so Mommy and Avery had the whole day together! She was a little on the cranky side today, I think because she is so congested. She did not nap well today and was very hard to please. Just one of those days...here are some shots that I did get of her while we hung out.

Avery is getting a little bit of the sniffles, runny nose..so she has been a little cranky today...here are a few shots of her.
