Adam and I had our 10 year class reunion this past weekend and had a great time! We really enjoyed getting to catch up with old classmates! Made us miss home a little and the good old days! This is us before we left on our date! ;)
Trying to get Avery to smile...got to love her wild hair!
Anna sporting the pink overalls! Love this outfit for Avery and now Anna. Anna is growing so fast...we may miss our opportunity to wear some of our cute clothes due to her growing so fast...this is a 6 month outfit and we don't have too much room in the torso. She has a much longer torso than Avery, but shorter arms and legs!
Anna has been a "spitter upper" since she came home from the hospital! Please ignore our drool and spit up....she is doing great sitting in the bumbo and holding her toys!
I had to laugh at these pictures...the girls facial expressions are very similar! Poor Anna...she is so laid back...her facial expression doesn't really change! Love these two sweet girls!
Where has the time gone and where are we going? Avery is going to be 2 1/2 this week and I cannot believe it. I was looking at her today and she is getting so big! She is also starting to really act like a 2 year-old...AGH!!! She has been in quite a mood lately and I am not sure if it is from being sick last week or if it is just her, but she has been a challenge. The constant "No", "I do it myself", and the desire to be so independent/control of her little self. (Wonder where she gets that from?) She is excelling at school...had a parent/teacher conference last week and Mrs. Stephanie had nothing but great things to say about her. She is going through this authoritative stage of repeating what the teacher says when disciplining children...you need not laugh, but she is quite funny! Sayings such as "Do you need to leave the circle?", "Go sit in the black chair (time away)", "Look at me!", "It will be sad trouble", and many more! She is still not eating very well, but she goes in spurts! This is what you get when you try to get Avery's picture!
Life is extremely busy with returning to work and having two children. Not to mention it is also Kentucky Basketball season which takes up a lot of time! GO CATS! This past week Avery was ill with a mild case of the flu...luckily we got the H1N1 shot on Sunday. So today is the first day that she was able to return to school, so we have been juggling the kiddos and trying to keep Anna healthy! Shout out to Mom for coming Wednesday to watch Avery, so Adam and I could both have productive days at our jobs! I haven't taken many pictures lately, but here are a few from last week!
We have had the pleasure to spend some time over the past two weekends with Uncle Ian! I didn't take many pictures, but here are a few that we did take!
Ella as Nemo! Annie as a Dragon! Caroline as a Bumblebee! Lincoln as a Monkey! Isabel as a Princess Reese as a Pig! Jace as Captain Hook! Anna as a Caterpillar! Avery as a Bumblebee!
