Asheville, NC

We spent from Thursday evening to Sunday Morning in Ashville, NC with our neighbors! We had a good weekend hanging out with friends, enjoying the Biltmore and hiking at Chimney Rock! On Friday we went to the Biltmore, the Winery, ate at the Stable at the Biltmore, and then went back through the Biltmore Candle Lit with all the Christmas Trees! It was a good day, but long with a child on your back and so COLD!! We did not get pictures on Friday because it was literally like 14 degrees and too cold to be outside for any moment! Saturday we went to Chimney Rock and hiked which was great! We really enjoyed ourselves and Avery did great! She had a little bit of a hard time sleeping in a strange place and had a few meltdowns during the days from exhaustion, but we all could have had a few meltdowns at different times! Here is what a 18 month old likes to do when she is in her carseat for 5 hours!

Grandma always lets Avery express herself with Art! Mommy is too strict with paint and messes, but Grandma lets Avery have fun! They painted while Mommy took a nap this weekend. It was great for everyone!

It was a very sad weekend for the Kentucky Cats but Avery was trying to support with Great Grandpa's Hat!

Well, we have not secured our doors, but Avery can open them without problem. Here are a few shots from Monday evening. She is really growing and has quite the toddler mullet...I just cannot do anything else with her hair right now...except be patient and let it grow!
