Welcome Anna Claire Eads

Anna Claire Eads was born at 9:08 this morning weighing 8 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches long. We are all doing well and enjoying our new little one. (Pictures to follow...internet is slow at the hospital).

The Newest Musician in the Family!

39 Weeks!

Today is 39 weeks and no baby yet! We are waiting her arrival....I am sure she will be here in the next few days or at least I hope. I have had more contractions today, however none that need counted or timed yet! Overall, I am feeling good and have no complaints.

Took Avery to the MD tonight and she has bilateral ear infections, so on antibiotics and ear drops to get her well before baby sister arrives!

Haven't taken any pictures lately...I must be nesting or doing something else with my time. :)

Just an update on today's appointment....1 1/2 to 2 cm dilated, 60% effaced, and head is low...going to wait another week to see if she comes on her own. We are only 38 weeks and 2 days...so we still have time.

Sleeping Beauty!

I finished Avery's baby book this weekend and realized that we don't have too many picture of her sleeping. So one morning this past weekend, Adam captured her with his I phone camera. Here is a sleeping beauty!

Avery Story!

Avery and I were having breakfast Friday morning and she was telling me who sits where at the table...Mommy sits there, Daddy sits there, Paw Paw sits there, Maw maw sits there, Avery sits here...pointing at each spot. I asked where is baby sister going to sit....she responded..."in the car" I thought this was too funny because we always talk in the car about baby sister's new seat and she is going to sit by Avery. This is just one story of many, but made me laugh and had to share!

MD Appointment went well on Friday...I am 1 cm dilated, she believes I will be pregnant all this week at least. We go back on this coming Friday and we will see where we are at! On a nesting note, I got Avery's baby book finished this weekend and the new babies started! I feel like we are ready for this new little girl when she decides she is ready!

We had a work get together this past Sunday and Avery got to take her first horse ride!! She loved it!

37 Weeks

This is Mommy and Baby at 37 weeks! We are nearing the end and looking forward to meeting our new little girl. I put the baby's car seat base in the car and Avery is so excited that "baby sister sit by me!" I hope she is still excited when she arrives! We had the ultrasound last week and baby had moved to head down position on her own, she looked very healthy and they estimated her weighing 6 pounds 4 ounces last week. I go back to the doctor this friday and we will post any new details!
